The highlight of this trip on 16 Apr 11 was a pod of several Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dophins!
Although we were expecting spring passage of Swinhoe’s Storm Petrels we didn’t see any, nor did another boat on the following day. We did see another Arctic Skua, our second in this series of pelagic outings. This skua was seen chasing a White-bellied Sea Eagle eager to get him to drop his food!
And here’s a shot of a White-winged Tern, we saw over fifty on this trip. Also seen were Black-naped and Little Terns.
